Okay, to start off I must apologize for the near-week delay between the ending of the previous round and me finding the time to collect all (valid) entries and compile a list of the nominees for the Final Round in the Hottest Men and Women of Newsvine contest!
The contest's previous round produced a good number of entries — sadly not all that many women — and after a few hours of sorting, organizing and calculating, I've managed to put together the two sets of contestants for the final round. I've put a crude, simple but clear overview of all Final Contestants* from the entry round online. Please use this page to see what articles and "witty remarks" people added to their entry, as these should be taken into consideration for your votes!
Anyway, in the process of doing all that, I made some decisions that hopefully everyone will find fair:
- since it seemed that time-of-entry had no serious impact on number of votes (e.g. some of the latest entries still had more votes than some of the earliest ones), I simply put the cut-off for Final Contestants at 10+ votes for Men.
- for the Women group, I've not bothered with a cut-off as there were only 9 entries, but rather than having a "Top 5" as winners, I'm reducing that to a Top 3. After all, having 5 winners out of 9 people would've made an even bigger joke of this contest than it already is. I'm trying to dial down the eyerolling, here.
So, with that out of the way, let's get to the details on voting in this final round!
Attached to this post are two images: collections of the final contestants for Men and for Women. Each photo is numbered and with the person's name or alias listed.
Rather than let time be a factor at all I came up with a different way to vote, which should prove to be quite fair. This round will be open until May 31st (midnight my time) so votes can be placed until then. Voting is done as follows:

3) Distribute 15 points between these 21 people. You do this simply by adding a 1, 2 or 3 after someone's name (optionally including the term "points" somehow, so for instance, "4. ErinK: 3pts".
You may not spend more than 15 points, you may not spend more than 3 points on any one person, but you may decide to not use all of your 15 points.
Any votes not following this simple protocol will simply be ignored (unless needed to break a tie).
If you don't spend any points on someone, you're free to remove that name from your copy-pasted lists to keep your comment post a bit shorter.
